Impossible is nothing, so now we have this Adidas shoe phone, another game the Shanzhai players did with these worlds most famous brands. When we don’t take it to the seriousness that concerns the law, we feel it’s kind of funny. The phone looks like a sport short from the front size and even the back is also made to look like the sole of a shoe. But after opening it, its charm fades completely. It’s a just an ordinary clamshell phone, though the Adidas logo could be seem on the phone’s End Call and Answer Call buttons.Compared to the phone’s design, its others specs are not even worth being mentioned. No information about the price yet, but it pretty possible that you might able to take one with less than 80 USD in China.

Teclast C520I and C430I Android PMPs

We all know that Rockchip launched an Android-enable chip RK2816 for portable media players a week ago. Today, Telast announced the company was going to bring two Android portable media players C520I and C430I that based on this chip to the market soon. The advantage these PMPs have is definitely that you can play the thousands of Android APPs at the Android market one them, giving you more choice for entertainment besides music and videos. Sad news is that RK2816 doesn’t support WI-FI, so your expect to surf the internet with them won’t be going to become real. The C520I brings with a 5 inches 800*480 touchscreen, C430I with a 4.3 inches one. they both support 720p and HMDI. currently the price and launch time are still not disclosed.

Shenzhen Sinotech’s iPad clone features a 800Mhz Telechips 8902 chip, Android 2.1

We really don’t see much similarity between this Sinotech’s tablet and Apple’s iPad, but the company still promoted it as an iPad clone. For the convenience to refer it, we also called it iPad clone here, because we don’t know what is its name, or it just has no name at all. It features a 800Mhz Telechips 8902 chip that’s based on ARM11 platform, a 7 inches 800×480 TFT resistive touchscreen, 256MB ROM, 4GB FLASH storage, a mini USB port, a HDMI port. Thank God it’s not an Android 1.5 or 1.6 device, and it runs Android 2.1. It is allege to support 1080p video, which we really shouldn’t put much expect on. So far we haven’t heard any words about the price and launch time.

The Shanghai Based Shanda is known as a gaming company, but these years the company has been expanding very fast. Its sub-company Shanda Literature has been acquired 7 most popular Chinese online writing websites, include the biggest one qidian.com, which makes Shanda the Chinese biggest online content provider. More than a week ago, Shanda officially unveiled its e-book reader Bambook, which is definitely a big move for the company to enter the mobile reading market.

Bambook is powered by Android OS, bringing with a 6 inches 600×800 16 gray level E-ink display. With this hardware launching, Shanda also announce its online ebook store Cloud Bookstore, which contains millions of ebooks and large content integrated from its online writing websites. Users can access Cloud bookstore on Bambook through WI-FI or 3G connectivity. Bambook supports many ebook formats, including snb, txt, ppt/pptx, pdf, html, umd, doc/docx, chm, epub. It’s said its battery life could support 24 days standby time. Moreover, it comes with an optional solar charging feature. So that means you can charging it while reading on it in Sunshine? Not sure now.

Shanda currently is carrying out a beta test for it, which only open to 3500 customers with a price of 998 Yuan (about $147 USD). It’s said its official price might be around 1800 Yuan (about $260 USD). People behind Chinese website PConline have got an unite and they’ve also published an unboxing video. Take a look.

Its iPad clones keep coming all these time. We just heard it has an iPad clone called LPad on an event, now it has a LPad-10 already, with very clear pictures. As other TESO iPad clones, LPad-10 runs Windows 7 (It’s said it also supports Intel’s MeeGo), and was powered by a 1.66Ghz Intel Atom N455 processor, a 10.1 1024*768 TFT capacitive touchscreen, 2GB DDR3, 8GB,16GB or 32GB SSD for options, with dimensions of 275×170×14mm, and weight of 729g. Price and launch time are not mentioned.

Acho C901 Android MID

Chinese portable media player manufacturer announced today it’s going to bring an Android MID called C901 to the market soon. The device looks quite ordinary, but we are very happy to see a MID out of China not trying to copy iPad or iPhone. Right now the company still haven’t give too much detail. We only know that it will bring a 7 inches 800×480 TFT resistive touchscreen, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a trackball to allow you navigate conveniently. It seems to have good ability on video playing, and is able to play MKV (H.264), AVI, RM, RMVB, FLV, MP4 videos. What’s more it supports 720p. All these sound very familiar, so we guess this MID might be another Rockchip RK2080 powered MID. Other information is still not available.

ACHO C301 7 inches color ebook reader

ZTE CR-750 Android Handset spotted

ZTE is going to launch a new android handset in China. The phone is called CR-750 and will head to China Telecom soon, though still no specified launch time there. It’s a dual mode phone (cdma/gsm), and powered by a 528M Qualcomm MSM7627 processor, and would runs Android 2.1. Its display is a 3.2 inches capacitive touchscreen that support multi-touch, but the resolutions are just sad, only 240×400 pixels. Other specs we know now are a 3.5-megapixel camera, FM radio, WI-FI/WAPI connectivity, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, still no words about its storage. The phone looks very clean and well-built. It’s the price is 2500 Yuan (about $373 USD).

SmartDevices T7 Android tablet was announced a little less than a month ago. Now the product has been arrived at the market for grasping. Many sellers on China’s biggest shopping website Taobao are shipping this product. Price is a little cheaper than what we were told at the announcement, just 1380 Yuan, and the T7-3G, which has versions to support WCDMA,CDMA2000, and TD-SWCDMA 3G networking respectively, is for 1680 Yuan.

The specs include a 720MHz ARMA11 processor, a 7 inches 800×600 SVGA resistive touchscreen, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a MicroSD card slot to support up to 32GB storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 4500mAh battery. It runs Android 2.1, and can play RMVB, AVI, MKV, WMV videos. It’s said it is capable of supporting 1080p videos. The dimensions are 205×136×16 mm and the weight is 420g.

EROS tablet new generation EROS 2 is coming

Back in January, a tablet named EROS that run on Windows 7 won lots of attention from the world. Now EROS 2, the new generation EROS tablet is coming. Compared to its predecessor’s 10.1 inches display, EROS 2 is a little bigger, with a 11.6 inches 1366×768 resistive touchscreen, just like a keyboard-less netbook from the size. It’s 1kg weight seems also quite heavy as a handhold device.

EROS 2 also runs Windows 7, and will be powered by Intel Atom N450, Atom N450+ION2, or Celeron SU2300, depending on the configuration you choose, coming with 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, three USB ports and a HDMI port. As a tablet, its battery life no doubt is a very important factor. EROS 2 gets a 4600mAh battery that’s claimed to support 3 hours for Internet surfing. The price is 3000 Yuan ($447 USD) for N450 version, 3700 Yuan ($552 USD) for Atom N450 plus ION2 version, and 4000 Yuan ($588 USD) for Celeron SU2300 version. EROS 2 currently is still a prototype and its product version might arrive in about a month.
